Tiffany Adams, the founder and managing attorney of The Adams Firm LLC, has practiced law for almost 18 years. Practice areas of The Adams Firm LLC, include criminal defense, and personal injury.

Tiffany Adams is a highly experienced attorney who is passionate about helping everyday members of the community fight for their rights. Attorney Adams is dedicated to providing strong and effective representation to a broad range of clients.

In her criminal practice, Ms. Adams handles a variety of cases ranging from serious felony charges such as Murder, Child Molestation, Aggravated Assault, Armed Robbery, and Drug Trafficking to misdemeanor offenses of DUI and Domestic Violence. In her Personal Injury practice, Ms. Adams handles a variety of cases including, but not limited to, trucking and auto accidents, slip and falls, and premise liability cases.

Tiffany Adams resides in Atlanta, Georgia. She graduated from the University of Georgia in 2001 where she received a Bachelor’s in Political Science, a minor in Criminal Justice, and received a certificate in African American Studies. Tiffany Adams obtained her Juris Doctorate from Georgia State University College of Law in 2005.

Attorney Adams is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, The Georgia State Bar, the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and the DeKalb Bar Association.

Cynthia Carlisle began her career as Paralegal for The Adams Firm, LLC in June 2019. She plays a vital role in supporting Attorneys in the litigation process. She is responsible for interviewing clients about their injuries, reviewing and summarizing medical records, reviewing police reports and insurance information, drafting demands, assisting with depositions, preparing responses to discovery, filing legal documents with the court and reviewing relevant state laws on personal injury. She performs legal research and assists Attorneys to prepare for trial.

Cynthia earned a BS Degree in Accounting in 1977 from the University of Alabama, Birmingham. She earned a Paralegal Certificate in 2019 from Emory University Continuing Education.

Cynthia has 40 years of experience in Healthcare Administration, which includes 20 years in leadership. Cynthia retired in 2019 after 22 years with Kaiser Permanente where she managed a Team responsible for over $1.5M in membership

revenue.

Cynthia has been married for 49 years and is the mother of two children and one granddaughter. Her interests include exercising, music, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. Cynthia’s most recent personal accomplishment was completing the 2023 Peachtree Road Race.

Cynthia’s many years of experience in the Healthcare Industry has afforded her an abundance of Healthcare knowledge and contacts within the Industry. If you ask Cynthia what motivated her to change professions after 40 years, she will always answer “it was the best career decision I could have ever made. It gave me the opportunity to work for my Daughter’s Law Firm and to share in her life-long dream of being an Attorney who will work tirelessly to help all of her Clients.”

Erin Knox is the Senior Legal Assistant and Case Manager at The Adams Firm LLC.  Erin brings over 10 years of administrative experience and 15 years in professional service to the table with expertise in scheduling and correspondence.  With a solid foundation in legal procedures and a commitment to accuracy, Erin plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth functioning of case management here at The Adams Firm LLC.

Erin is currently completing her degree in Anthropology at Georgia State University.  Her studies in this area have equipped her with an understanding of research methods and case management.  Erin is proficient in utilizing legal research tools and software, enabling her to efficiently gather, organize and analyze critical information.  

Erin takes pride in providing exceptional support to clients during their legal journey.  Her ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks helps to keep client’s cases on track for successful resolution.  Providing a positive and efficient work environment is Erin’s dedicated contribution to The Adams Firm LLC. 

Erin is truly passionate about learning new legal developments and to continuously enhancing her skills.  Outside of work Erin enjoys spending time with her daughter and supporting her in her extracurricular activities.

Sherika Carlisle has been serving as a Legal Assistant at The Adams Firm LLC Since January 2023. Prior to this role, Sherika had a successful 14-year career as a self-employed caregiver, with plans of retiring in that field. However, due to her passion for the law, when she was presented with the opportunity to join The Adams Firm by her “sister-in-love”, she eagerly embraced the chance for a career transition.

Although the healthcare and legal fields are distinct, Sherika is honored to have embarked on this new journey and is grateful for the rewarding experiences it has brought. Here at The Adams Firm, we consider our clients as extensions of our own family. This belief drives Sherika’s passion to utilize her unique skill set to provide exceptional service and contribute to the growth and success of the firm.

Sherika is the firm’s initial contact with clients. She is responsible for scheduling consultations and serves as the “gatekeeper” to the attorneys. She also assists with trial preparation, managing emails, and billing. Sherika is committed to providing excellent support services to not just the client, but her colleagues as well.
